Dr. Christy Fischer
Dr. Christy Fischer has been in mid-Missouri since 2001 when she moved from southern California to attend William Woods University in Fulton on a soccer scholarship. She graduated from the University of Missouri-College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009, joined All Creatures Animal Hospital the following year, and has been here ever since! Dr. Fischer took over the practice in 2019 from esteemed veterinarian and clinic founder Dr. Bill Motley. When not caring for patients, clients, or the clinic, she enjoys staying active and being outdoors, spending time with her husband and two sons.

Dr. Heidi Haas

Dr. Heidi Haas grew up in Silex, MO. She attended the University of Missouri-Columbia, receiving a BS in Animal Science and later her DVM at the College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. She spent a year in Las Vegas at a high-volume emergency-based clinic before returning to Missouri to practice with us. Since then, she has cultivated her passion for orthopedics. She has received specialized training to be able to perform advanced orthopedic procedures such as TPLOs, extracapsular repairs, and medial patellar luxation correction. When not at work Dr. Heidi Haas loves painting, exercising, and spending time outdoors with her husband, 3 children, two dogs and two cats.

Dr. Katie Woods (previously Slimack)
Dr. Katie Woods grew up in St. Louis and received a BS degree at Colorado State University before returning to Missouri for veterinary school at the University of Missouri. Dr. Katie Woods graduated in 2019 and worked at a mixed animal practice before joining us in 2021. She lives with her husband and their three dogs, Reagan, Cooper, and Murphy, and cat, Tonks. She enjoys biking, traveling, and hanging on her farm with her animals.
Dr. Baylee Stapleton
Dr. Baylee Stapleton
Dr. Baylee Stapleton grew up in Pineville, Arkansas but has lived in Columbia, Missouri since 2019. She attended the University of Missouri where she completed her BS in Animal Sciences in 2022 and earned her DVM in 2026. Dr. Baylee Stapleton has been a part-time doctor’s assistant ACAH since 2021 and throughout her studies and is excited to transition into her new role as a Veterinarian.

During her free time, Baylee enjoys spending time with her Husband and her dog, Harley. She loves being outdoors, golfing, and working with her Charolais cattle in Arkansas.

Amanda Martin, RVT
Amanda Martin is our registered veterinary technician. Amanda completed her BS in Agriculture at Murray State University in 2010. She began work at ACAH in June 2010. She completed her RVT licensing in June 2012. Amanda enjoys reading and mountain biking, and camping with her husband and son. Her home also includes two cats, Crusty Carl and Viper Lily.

Natalie
Natalie is a doctor’s assistant. Natalie is in the process of completing her BS in animal sciences at Mizzou with a certificate in equine sciences and management. She began working at ACAH in March 2025. She plans to attend Mizzou’s veterinary school beginning in fall 2027. Natalie enjoys spending time with friends, reading, and time in the sunshine. She wouldn’t be complete without her own critters – a beagle named Buddy and a tortoiseshell named Peanut.

Sydney
Sydney started as a doctor’s assistant in late 2022. In her free time, she enjoys crafting. She is starting school to become a Veterinary Technician this fall and is very excited for her future with ACAH!
Da'lisha
Da'lisha, CVT
Da’lishia is a Certified Veterinary Assistant who has been with All Creatures Animal Hospital for two years. ​Outside of the clinic, Da’lishia enjoys traveling and kayaking with Oliver.
Morgyn
Morgyn
Morgyn started shadowing in 2023 while completing her Bachelor’s of Animal Sciences. After graduating in 2024 she started working at All Creatures. Currently she is working towards her Master’s in Biomedical Sciences with an emphasis in veterinary medicine. In her free time, she enjoys hiking or relaxing at home with her fiancé and 3 cats, Pepper, Raikou, and Elphie. Morgyn also runs a small business inspired by her love for crafting and trading cards. She will be starting Veterinary College at Mizzou this Fall!
Carly
Carly
Carly is a veterinary student from a small town, where she grew up on a farm and developed a passion for working with animals at an early age. Her background in agriculture and hands-on experience with both livestock and companion animals has shaped her interest in pursuing a career in mixed animal medicine. She is especially interested in providing practical, accessible veterinary care to rural communities and supporting the health and productivity of both large and small animals.

Emma
Emma started working at All Creatures Animal Hospital in 2024 while completing her Bachelor’s of Animal Sciences. Currently, she is working towards a Masters in Veterinary Public Health. In her free time, she enjoys going to sporting events, running, and hanging out with her two cats, Howie and Phoebe.
Carly
Carly
Carly completed her BS in Animal Science at Oklahoma State University in 2018. She completed her RVT licensing in June 2026. Carly enjoys training with her dogs and doing dog sports. Her home includes Sutton, River, Tick, and Quincy.
Emma
Evie
Evie Ringer is an undergraduate at the University of Missouri, studying animal sciences. She is originally from South Bend, Indiana and came to Columbia for Mizzou’s PreVet Scholar program. She has a dog named Taz and enjoys hiking, baking, and gardening.
